Birth Doula
Dr. Isabella is not only a stellar Performance Physical Therapist, but a Board Certified Pelvic & Women’s Health Clinical Specialist. She is passionate about empowering her patients to regain their confidence, take back control, and continue living an active lifestyle free of pain or symptoms. At the core of her practice is a deep love for the body and the incredible process of birth, a passion that grew into her training as a birth doula and continues to shape how she approaches postpartum rehabilitation, always digging past the surface to find the true root cause of dysfunction rather than just treating symptoms.
Her main goal is to educate every patient on the crucial role the pelvic floor and surrounding musculature play in understanding what "normal" really looks like, filling in the countless small but crucial details that most women and moms are simply never taught about their bodies and the changes they go through across every stage of life. For Isabella, pelvic health isn't just a clinical specialty; it's an intimate, powerful part of a woman's life story.
She earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of North Florida in 2023. Upon graduation, Isabella completed a postdoctoral Women's Health and Pelvic Health Residency Program, receiving specialized training in pelvic floor rehabilitation for urinary incontinence, functional bowel disorders, pelvic organ prolapse, pelvic pain, and obstetric and postpartum physical therapy, along with conditions more prevalent in female patients, such as fibromyalgia, osteoporosis, and women's neuro-musculoskeletal health across the lifespan.
Isabella spent most of her life in Naples, Florida, though she was born in Bogotá, Colombia! Growing up near the beach, she fell in love with beach volleyball, spikeball, and picture-perfect sunsets. She later moved in-state to earn her Bachelor's degree from the University of Florida (Go Gators!) before making her way back to the coast.
In her free time, she loves playing sports with her husband, chasing new PRs in CrossFit, and traveling to new places with her camera close at hand.
